EA is busy developing the next big Sims release as well as a remake or remaster of The Sims 4. Today, Sims Community were given a look at how the characters are set to look in the next big new entry and comparisons have been made between the popular free-to-play game Fortnite. As you can see from the screenshot below the character models look more detailed and polished than those in The Sims 4. If this image is legitimate then all we have to wait for now for EA and Maxis to make the big announcement.

Nintendo has been rerunning various user icons for Nintendo Switch Online members that they may have missed out on when they first appeared. However, they have also been adding new ones too. Nintendo previously revealed that the first Splatfest for 2026 in Splatoon 3 is the Frosty Fest which kicks off on 10th January and has created some new user icons specifically for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. As with all Nintendo Switch Online user icons these can be customised to your heart's content.

Popular fantasy writer Brandon Sanderson has revealed in his end of year message that he's close to adapting his exhilarating Mistborn novels into a video game. He said that he's currently talking to AAA video game developers about the interest in adapting the books into a video game series and says if anyone is interested in this proposal then to contact his representatives to get the ball rolling.

The French company registered the domain for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced just 25 days ago. X user, The Hidden One, says that the domain for Resynced is registered through GANDI SAS, which is a French registrar that’s always been Ubisoft’s default.
