Me too. And I learned something new which was shocking to me as well as 3 three students with the doctor. Apparently, if you have an upper endoscopy or colonoscopy while taking Protonix, you won't see what's going on as the Protonix heals things. Makes perfect sense.

Agreed. A liver doctor has been long overdue. I've had severe pain from fatty liver so many years that I downplay how bad the pain is. But it feels like I have a knife in my side at all times. It gets worse with certain positions.

Thanks Nan. Doctors have been ignoring my high liver enzymes for years (since 2003). My primary suggested I have them get to the bottom of it. Seeing a specialist at a top research hospital will hopefully get me answers.

The new GI was fabulous. Thank goodness! We discussed & came up with a good plan for possible Gastroparesis. She also did some Xrays to get a good idea of how things are going. We're on the way back home, but it's a 5hr drive. I still say it's worth it. I got a referral for a liver doctor also.
