Throwback post, back when I was exploring alternate universe ideas for Preternatural.

Set in the 2000s, with Arthur and Micah as two young 'Ghost hunting' vloggers, exploring haunted locations and travelling in their custom mini cooper 'Duke'.

Getting the Kikanalo in scale with my toa figure was a bit of a challenge, trying to get enough shaping and space to fit a toa whilst remaining faithful to the set design. The head was the most frustrating part.

A re-render of my Joseph figure from the game Machinarium.

I stumbled across Machinarium during lockdown when I was trying to find fun games to play on my phone. And I immediately fell in love with it. The character designs, the artwork, the backgrounds.

The Toa Metru:

The complete set 😉 it's been fun to revisit these figure concepts like my Phantoka/Mistika series. Giving them their Turaga mask colours gave a really good look into a 'What if ?' scenario as well.
