One of the downsides to off grid living. Had to take today off from work since our generator decided it wanted to audition as a spaceship. One trip to town and too much time in the sun later, all is well again.

While building up a tool, I found that a part couldn't work since it was .001 out of round. Still within tolerance, it made the part unusable. After I get back from lunch, he proudly tells me that they're going to Machine the new part.... like yeah, we usually do that.
