Yeah, I actually think some of this was from May and previous attacks. However, it's certainly a good reminder that strong account security is a good idea. This has become my most engaging post so far on this platform, and I'm glad it's getting people talking about account security. :)

I sometimes feel bad for leaving people on read when they come at me with profiles with following many but few followers, no content or posts of opinionated thought or emotion, just tons of reposts of other people's art. They look like scam/bots. In the back of my mind, "but what if they are real?"

Follow these steps:

1. Log into deck.blue, a third party client akin to what Tweet Deck was for Twitter.

2. Compose a new post by clicking the button on the top left.

3. Copy your link, select text you want to turn into a link and hit paste (CTRL+V)

4. Your links should look this in the composer: [Text](https://link.com)

5. Hit Post!

Bonus tip

Hit "Win + ." in the deck.blue post composer to open an emoji selector. Alternatively you can type ":" and it opens an emoji drop down selector like in Discord.

Even the stormiest of days eventually pass, and after the rain often comes beautiful new beginnings. It's hard to sometimes wait in the terror of the storms, but I've found the breaking sun's warmth upon the land to be reassuring.
