silly pinned poast: About Me
cute ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€โšง๏ธ enby dogthing with a love for model kits, specifically gunpla, and practicing all the facets of detailing, painting n customizing them, along with miniatures like warhammer

practicing more traditional art stuffs too!
now's a fun time to share the little simple mockup i edited months and months ago from some kampfer lineart for how i wanted to modify it. please ignore the fact that the vulcans would fire directly into the fin antenna
good glob the new frankenstein movie kills. god. fuck i love art
they don't understand how cute you really are
(poorly dry fit, i may or may not snip off a bit of the 'chin' on the helmet piece)
since my airbrush project is on hold i've spent my time doing unspeakable things to my MG kampfer (federation-ifying it and turning it into a stolen zeon MS that was repurposed into a training unit, like the gelgoog at the end of stardust memory)
update to say the airbrush doesn't even work because there's some weird defect in it that instead mashes the paint bottle's needle up into the nozzle .. lmao. been waiting a nice cozy week on a proper response from dspiae. guh

Hm, yeah, colored pencils seem to be the way to go for cracks on this pavement. Not sure if it's in-scale exactly, but looks pretty good anyway (to me at least). #diorama #gunpla #gundam
looks so good. you ever try those AK weathering pencils? have a few and they work wonders, just gotta use caution cause they're soluble in water
hopefully i made even half of this make Some Cents, but i was really happy with not being scared of butchering my model kits anymore, understanding how the insides of them work, and modifying them to make painting a lot easier ๐Ÿค
the head, i just glued the snout on and snipped the pipes so i could paint them w/out obstructing the head and just fit them back on

the chest, i cut the inside of it that holds the sides' pegs in, meaning i could assemble and glue everything together once it's all painted with ease
the arms were tough to figure out, they're a bunch of parts sandwiches over an innerframe, so i cut the connecting peg between the joint and the arm in half so i could glue it all together and, like the leg, slide it on and off!

the armor has the benefit of covering up my horrific surgery
tamiya glue fixes it all together, but origin kits have an innerframe it all fits together over, making assemblies difficult! so i hollowed out the inside of the leg armor n sliced up the innerframe, so i can just slide it and out as i need. once the armor is done being painted, it slides right on
now that i have an airbrush i can post about what my devious plots with it are atm and what i did to butcher this origin zaku to prep for it. i wanted to get everything broken down into assemblies, so the first hurdle to get over was seamlines
the last time i had an airbrush it was a lil portable-powered airbrush a friend got me that i managed to get clogged and then i think potentially broke in the process of tryna fix it. this should be way easier to mess with since there's minimal cleaning involved ๐Ÿ’œ
finally have an airbrush ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿค i mostly just plan on using it for base coating my models, so i didn't wanna get any super crazy expensive setup (at least for right now)
maybe now i can stop flopping between projects like a lil fisch
finally got ADHD medication, it's so over for yall
every time i don't see it my tiny little heart breaks. i've been scribbling down what runners it wants on the first steps of each part in my manuals lately!
i've been swiping back n forth smashing the ingram into the building for the past 5 minutes
that's no gundam! looks like it's the winzert from mado king granzort
majority of the ones on the right are high grades, so $15-30 each (give or take)
this was my first time trying to use a gloss topcoat before applying an oil wash and it's helped a lot, made the oil wash a lot easier to apply and kept the lines nice n sharp
life's been stupid hectic but i've been keeping my hands busy finally getting around to my gundam artifact miniatures, starting with the GM from thunderbolt ๐Ÿ’œ been tryna base the color scheme off the HG gunpla's box art!
as someone who frequently assists people in steam account recovery/security, this is not considered proof for recovery in any way. valve would want information such as card/bank info, simply going "hey i purchased x/y thing" won't help at all
