I had taken a set of pics of the gate house earlier, stopped for a chat on a nearby park bench, then began to walk back when I noticed someone painting the gatehouse. Didn't catch their name.

During the first walk, since the sun was out and I was overdressed (ofc), it got quite warm. As often happens in seattle, I was cold at 5:30, so decided to have a walk and noticed this post. I found it super sweet (and well-written!). I came back at 10:30 to hang CPU posters, and snapped this pic.

I ended up in the park 3 times today. The first, at 12:25pm, I took my daily pictures (posted in the previous post). The 2nd was around 5:30pm where I noticed this post on the gatehouse doors.

the city had painted this since my earlier walk that day at 10am. note that the center left alcove on the north side wasn't completely painted - suggesting that the mural was a discrete piece that was removed. where does it go?
