Wow. In 'a so-called side-by-side system' the OECD has exempted US multinationals from key provisions of the global corporate minimum tax, supposedly a 'landmark decision in international tax co-operation.' Let's hope the UN can do better than this, negotiations on a #UNTaxConvention ramp up in 2026

After buying it for $18.8 billion, Walgreens' new private equity owner has eliminated paid holidays for all hourly workers on Christmas and New Year's.

Last year, Walgreens had a CEO-to-Worker pay gap of 410 to 1.

Manchester's mayor freezes bus fares at £2. A bus ride in London is £1.75, and you can even get two buses within one hour for that price. A bus ride in Birmingham costs £3! I know there are many different reasons for it but affordable public transport really matters
