I usually share my progressive thoughts on Bluesky, but today I want to introduce our cover of Burl Ives's Holly Jolly Christmas. Like many other musicians, we approached this song with great care and sincerity. I’d be grateful if you could add it to your traditional holiday music playlists.

A lot of MAGA accounts on X are now known to be foreign-made. This obvious bot farming intentionally spreads misinformation. Americans seriously need net literacy to protect themselves from foreign propaganda. They are pushing Trump because they want to harm Americans. Educate yourselves.

Zohran Mamdani has his work cut out for him and, of course, will face plenty of hurdles, but today's meeting with Trump shows he has more than enough charisma to manage. Hopefully, his policies will be successful and serve as a template for other cities, making all of America more affordable.

Trump posted a death-threat style message toward several Democratic lawmakers. Don't normalize this. Imagine if any Democratic president had said anything close to this. The GOP would have immediately called to impeach them. Where is the accountability? Don't normalize his insanity.

This appeared on the CDC vaccine safety website. "Vaccines don't cause autism" is an evidence-based claim because there is no credible evidence linking them. If you make a claim, you need actual proof. That's how burden of proof works. RFK Jr. and Trump's regime have destroyed the CDC's credibility.

MTG divorcing herself from her cult leader shows he's losing support among her constituents. The public pressure is working. Trump fascism enablers only care if their political careers are threatened. Constituent pressure forces them to speak up. Make them work for the people. Make them apologize.

Trump's regime wants people to reapply for SNAP benefits, supposedly because they're cracking down on fraud and abuse. Americans should demand a re-count of the presidential election for the same reason. As for caring about abuse, I can't think of a more hypocritical group to make that claim.

Trump's regime is an anti-science crusade. The Department of Education wants to exclude many public-health degrees from counting as professional degrees. These students will struggle to access federal loans. This will further weaken our crumbling public health infrastructure, hurting Americans.

Just a reminder that Valve Corporation, which runs Steam, has donated exclusively to Democratic candidates and the Democratic Party in federal elections for 2020, 2022, and 2024. It's one of the few tech companies still aligned with morality. They deserve credit for standing with democracy.

Happy Veterans Day, especially to our veterans from marginalized communities. Their sacrifices deserve greater recognition from our leaders and communities.

In an unsigned letter, SCOTUS declined to hear arguments to overturn Obergefell v. Hodges. Same-sex marriage remains protected. Since the Trump regime hurts Americans every day, it feels like we have lost so much. This should never have been even challenged. But in today's society, a win is a win.

The 8 party traitors who backed abandoning subsidies for the Affordable Care Act are throwing cold water on the Democratic Party's election momentum. They're disgraceful, and they sold out their constituents. Especially Fetterman, Shaheen, and Hassan. Why even pretend to be in the Democratic Party?
November 11, 2025 at 2:15 AM
Newβ€―Hampshire needs better Democratic candidates, ones with actual spines who will stand up to Trump's regime. The Constantly-Caving Sisters, Hassan and Shaheen, backed many of Trump's minions, voted for the last CR, and are ready to back the GOP in abandoning subsidies. Absolutely disgusting.
November 10, 2025 at 1:35 AM
10 Democrats are ready to cave to Trump's demands to end the shutdown. I assume those are the same ones who voted for the last CR and backed many of Trump's nominees. Shaheen and Fetterman backed 11 of Trump's yes-men. Hassan backed 10. If you call Chuck Schumer, call them as well. Apply pressure.
November 9, 2025 at 10:50 PM
Americans can never forget that Trump and his GOP cronies put all their energy into withholding SNAP and starving Americans. They have stopped at nothing to make their constituents go hungry during a shutdown they refuse to end. The GOP doesn't deserve any seats in our government. Vote them out.

Mamdani's all-female transition team looks incredible. They're competent, qualified professionals, the shining stars of their areas of expertise. This is how DEI works. When opportunities are fair and free of bias toward white men, the truly talented can rise. Great start.

Tonight's election results show that the Trump regime's treasonous, discriminatory policies are deeply unpopular. People are waking up. Today is a beacon of hope. Congrats to every Democratic nominee, official, and judge who won tonight.

Zohran Mamdani wins the NYC mayoral election! Congratulations New Yorkers, this is a huge win for working-class citizens and those fighting the corruption of billionaires and the GOP pundits. Though he faces a tough road ahead, glad to see all he'll accomplish going forward.

Congrats to Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey and Abigail Spanberger in Virginia! Voters in these states understood the assignment. We need people like them who will fight for democracy. Keep voting the GOP cult out of every level of government.
November 5, 2025 at 2:25 AM
Tomorrow, November 4, get out and vote for the Democratic nominees at every level of government in your state. No more staying home just because your nominee is too moderate or too left. We can't afford to let more of Trump's GOP minions into office at any level. Protect democracy.

Food banks can purchase food wholesale at much lower rates than a consumer would pay. Even a few dollars can go a long way to help people who can't access SNAP benefits. If you can, donate to your local food bank. Nobody deserves to be hungry, especially during the Thanksgiving season.

Vote yes on Prop 50 in California on November 4. Ignoring the GOP's map fight won't protect fair representation. Show other blue states Californians are fighting back against the GOP's underhanded tactics.
October 30, 2025 at 9:30 PM
If you're eligible to vote in New Jersey's gubernatorial election on November 4, show your support and vote for Mikie Sherrill. Based on recent polls, this race is extremely close. Vote for someone willing to stop MAGA insanity. Staying home on Election Day is no longer an option.

Hurricane Melissa made landfall this morning with wind speeds over 185 miles per hour. It is hard to even conceptualize how powerful and destructive this storm is. It is currently more powerful than Milton was. If you pray, pray for Jamaica. #Melissa

Climate change makes hurricanes moisture-rich and slower-moving, while warming the ocean and raising sea levels. Hurricane Melissa is the perfect example of this pattern. Climate change threatens society as we know it. We cannot continue to ignore this.
