I got to see Franz Gertsch’s large-scale portraits of Irène Staub, a SW and muse for many artists in Zurich in the 80s.

There is something about seeing SWs as the central subject in art that stirs up feelings of solidarity. It’s almost like looking into a mirror ❣️
