My dog has unknowingly become a service animal in the last week. My nighttime auditory hallucinations (due to anxiety and lack of sleep) are acting up and I just have to check in with my dog to see if it's reality or not. Someone pounding on my back door and she doesn't lift her head? Can't be real.
