There is something so lovely and just so cool to see that my childhood library has ordered my latest book - and then asks me when it will come in Norwegian😊 #libraries #historicalreads
I'm reading this now and it's excellent. Check out the fascinating story on how the story became a book 💖🎉 #Histfic
🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 On the blog this week, I welcome lovely fellow Cariad, Imogen Martin whose fabulous third novel is published tomorrow by Storm Publishing. Find out why The Mountains Between Us was a book she didn't intend to write. janbaynham.blogspot.com Writers, do you have a story that begged to be told? 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
When schools will be closing in Southern Norway, you know Monday is going to be a 'stay inside and turn up the heat' kind of day. #bookday #snowday #polarcyclone #badweather
I hope you all get books for Christmas!
I would only read that aloud if I could sit under the table doing so. And maybe if they paid me ... 😊
Maybe it's time to start digging for ivory in the back yard. Loads of Vikings roamed Oslo, long before it was Oslo of course. It would be fasinating to find a Japanese piece made with Viking ivory. Somehow they did get around, the Vikings😆
On the @WordWenches blog today I’m talking about the ivory trade during Viking times compared to now. They called walrus ivory "fish teeth" and they were right about the "teeth" part - not so much the "fish"!

I read a book a day as a kid. It saved me on so many levels. I can't really claim to be much of a communicator. What goes on in my head, usually don't make it out of my mouth 😂 Intersting article, though.

Frost magazine is one of my go-to places for reviews and other fascinating writing/reading stuff. Always something interesting to read.
I review books for Frost online magazine, and here is this month's selection:

What else has everyone been reading recently?
I used to write six books a year, so it adds up. Not sure I can do that again. Bloody hard work and not much time for anything else. I did have to use the calculator ... 😂
