I just gave product feedback to a customer service agent, and instead of just passing it along, she tried to explain to me why each family member of an insurance plan can’t have their own online account. It would be too many accounts!

🤨 Incredible that so many other companies can figure this out…

The question is no longer WHETHER to adopt AI in customer service, but instead it’s HOW and WHEN

Mira Murati says we’re doing pretty well on AI safety, but we need to improve on transparency and AI literacy. That resonates for me

Interesting take from @jay.bsky.team : some people get so burned out from social media, and can’t control it, that they just leave a platform.
Bluesky gives you the control to curate your conversation, and thus you stay on the platform.

Is that a net good?

@mcuban.bsky.social says it’s an existential moment for Twitter and you can talk here like it’s 2015 again with the trash talking.

But it’s also easier to just engage people about the Mavs & Cost Plus.

From Andy Miller at AARP, I learned that AARP isn’t just an advocate for consumers over 50, but it actually pushes technology forward.

Design has the power to lift up bad actors, and that’s a risk for all tools.

So what? Let’s invest in raising the bar and inventing new possibilities for good designers

“A camel is a horse designed by committee”

“If this is the future of design, then I’m switching careers”

These were some of the early user comments at @figma.com regarding the new collaborative direction in Figma. Good thing they ignored it!

How will @signal.bsky.social get to 1B users?

“We have to provide a product that when anyone picks it up, it feels natural.” It needs to be easy enough that all your friends are on it. That’s as important as privacy

Plus, they’re working on encrypted backups
