Teaching a Mass Media course right now is rather defeating. Every week, it's basically the same lecture and discussion - the medium is dying because of the internet, and we've no clue how any of this is going to play out or how anybody beyond a conglomerate can make any money at it.

Disney has a long history of attempting to co-oped current culture unsuccessfully, but they at least did it unsuccessfully in house. They've really rolled over in recent years to massive content creators (not theme park influencers) and just let them run roughshod.
