I went to my GP after breaking down at work, seeking help. He, I'm not kidding, listened to me for 30 seconds before pulling a replica pistol / lighter out of his desk drawer and passing it to me, said with a grin "this is the end to all your problems". Laughed, took it back, prescribed Prozac.
When my late wife, Colette, first went to see a doctor about her mental health, telling him that she felt sad all the time, the doctor did this. I kid you not.

Now I've got the Teardrops in Rain monologue, only spoken by Joe Pesci, in my head (which wouldn't have happened anyway, because Hauer significantly modified the script).

Weird thing, a photo of our food cupboard feels like one of the most personal things I've shared. Feel like it's quite easy to judge people by their food choices, like the presenters off Eat Well For Less are getting it all out and tutting.
