Tend to think of 2025 as sucking. Because it sucked. Hugely. And I know this is not unique to me. I, like most of us, at least the good "us", fear it will only get worse; that we're rapidly approaching The End.

Early gift for me, a Tumblr discovery: R.E.M. fan club & Xmas singles entire run collected. Great stuff, a reminder that even tho they became a gigantic pop act that they were always capable of gettin' weird (ala Sun City Girls or the Dead C). Plus a cover of my fave Mission of Burma song

2025 I haphazardly decided I was going to watch every Bond film in order. One a week or month or whenever they were available at the library. Made it up thru the Moore era, a little over halfway, before needing a break. I'll likely pick it back up in 2026, tho not exactly looking forward to it

2025 sucked. First car accident in a looooong time in 2025. A fender bender. Not my fault, not surprisingly, but the other person's insurance refused to pay for it, also not surprisingly. Even with video evidence I have of the other person repeatedly stating it was their fault. Insurance is bullshit
