it was nice how sonic cd fans started referring to the cutscenes' actual animation studio (Junio) rather than the studio that employs them (Toei). I wish people online would do that for TMS and Telecom.

when people say games criticism is going to shit i usually think about all those old magazines and ign reviews and youtube videos that had me thinking it was always pretty childish and surface level. if anything all those big wordy "pretentious" video essays we have now area marked improvement.
