I agree.

I challenged him on it. I told him that they are still part of God's creation, using Christian terminology. He just laughed, calling them a nuisance. It's a horrible religion.

Good news!
New HIV diagnoses in the UK fell by 4% in 2024.
The UK remains among the top countries in the world for diagnosis (95% of all living with HIV are diagnosed), treatment (99% of diagnosed on treatment) and viral suppression (98% ‘undetectable’ - and so can’t pass the virus on sexually).

There was a rise after 2020 as a result of increases in testing rates, following significant low levels of testing as a result of COVID.

Lisbon 2006 / today.
In 2006 I had been diagnosed HIV+ for 8 years and on treatment for 3 years.
With secure access to treatment, HIV is no longer a barrier to a long and healthy life.

You're very welcome. It's a very good interview, where he displays a sense of humour. He normally comes across as very serious. There's a kind of banter-ish quality to it, which I like. It's not the usual questions either.

For me, it really comes down to me liking 9-5" to 10" fingerboard radius and rosewood as the material. So for me now, that's older second-hand Fenders and Squiers.

My first guitar was great too but didn't know about swapping out the nut and the pickups so let it go. I wish I'd kept it. It was an Aria STG-005. Two HB pickups which you could coil split.

Really? Maple or rosewood? They changed the fingerboard material in line with CITES legislation, so rosewood reserves weren't exploited.

I've always wanted to try out a Vintage V6 guitar and had the chance to buy one for not much money at all. Until, I discovered the 'wood' used for the fingerboard is man-made.

The closest to Rosewood. I've played that stuff before and it doesn't feel right at all, so unfortunately I had to say no.
