dude, the premise of your game is sick!

A small glimpse at some concept art exploring the game’s various locations, characters, and key story moments. Big credit to @lilcthulhu.bsky.social for helping shape the world and its writing in the very early stages of development!

looks definitely very similar. Interesting, I’ve only been to Edinburgh so far, and it didn’t look anything like that
naukanauki.bsky.social
interesting… the models were actually inspired by eastern european housing blocks.
naukanauki.bsky.social
alright, it looks super unique for sure
naukanauki.bsky.social
this looks really interesting. may I ask what kind of game this is going to be?

It’s basically a background prop, so most of its details will never be visible to any player. But I really enjoyed modeling this asset in Blender, so big shoutout to the Polyarneft gas station!

I thought it was quite entertaining… though if today’s news cycle and daily events tend to get to you, you might want to reconsider

this reminds me of that one playground from ff7 😊. great work!

love the semi-realistic art direction. not everything has to be photorealistic in horror 👌

Most of the larger buildings are optimized and imported into Unity now. There's still a lot of ground-level detail work left to do! 🚧🏗️

right!? and the great thing is, there are always countless ways to achieve it.

Thanks a lot! It took a lot of trial and error, but I think it paid off.

One of the first things I built for my game was the camera system. I’ve always loved fixed angles in horror games, but I wanted more flexibility. Now the camera can do almost anything and adapts to each scene. Can’t wait to see it in action with real assets in Unity!

Neat! It took me a long time to design a camera system that I was happy with

This will be one of the main locations from the game. Still missing lots of details like trees, cars, AC units, and dirt. Currently moving everything from Blender to Unity.

as with many things, the learning curve is very steep at the beginning, but eventually it becomes second nature.

my wrist hurts just from looking at this

Just finished baking textures for all the background buildings in the main city hub. Making dense texture atlases is weirdly satisfying 😎.

Ok, now I’m scared of what your next game will be like
