ok, i may have some resolutions for this year:
- beat low ink
- get better grades
- get into the school i want to
- be physically active for at least an hour or more every day
- lose 20+ lbs
overall: focus on my well-being and make new lifelong habits.

the one thing i hate about uni at times is that everything is on screens
i miss when i was given a booklet for the whole unit, or when i just wrote everything down off the board

does anyone else find it weird how turning 18 is essentially like, an on-switch to the outside world in a cultural sense.
why does turning a certain make us as sophisticated (supposedly) as someone 30, 40 years older than us. why should we feel on equal footing this early? shouldn't we ease into it?

retirement has treated me well, but i think i'd rather stay a bit more active in the community.
