On reflection, you have to imagine if Owen Farrell & Bundee Aki have an ounce of self awareness between them, in a quiet moment they’ll be sat somewhere this season enjoying the work of Sione Tuipolotu & quietly admitting only Andy Farrell’s shit bias saw them rewarded them with a Lions Test Cap…👀

Defender knew exactly what he was doing with that wide arm ‘wrap’. As weird as it sounds given their Yellow Cards, Zebre still not really being penalised as much as their near constant illegality deserves.

Gregor with a point to prove. Appreciate Glasgow have a decent maul. But big George T simply isn’t there at the moment, while Cherry is playing sub-elite.

Weird. First ten minutes here have been almost all Zebre attacking. Yet Glasgow don’t look troubled. Nor do I feel they’re remotely bothered by the pressure. Look absolutely comfortable. Really strange to watch, but they look completely in control despite ten solid mins of pressure & defending 🤷♂️😳

Not sure what I expect to see from Glasgow tonight. The full five - but otherwise? True consistency likely hard given step down in tempo. So perhaps low error count, limited pens, and a high standard of accuracy & execution the target they should aim for.

Is it wrong that while dual/triple screening games, and one features Perpignan, whenever I see a Yellow Card timer under the scoreline but I’ve missed the incident my automatic thought is, ‘Where’s Jamie R??’ 🤣👀

Watching Gray play for UBB. Thankfully, he looks to be fully recovered from his injury trouble. However, even after 40 mins he continues to move around the field slowly and offer none of the dynamism we see routinely from Cummings, Brown, or others. He simply isn’t the right choice for Scotland.

I was going to simply let it pass. But I can’t. There just appears to be no limit to the amount of frustration Edinburgh can cause - and yet again it’s largely self inflicted too. Fans are (quite rightly) calling out that final grounding. But in truth the game should have been over with by 50 mins.

Quite possibly the least excited I’ve ever felt prior to a 6N launch. What is even the point of developing young & exciting talent if the Head Coach, whose selections have won nothing for nine long years, ignores that young talent in favour of ageing professionals now moving at half-speed?

This lad has faced off against SA & Ire starters in the URC, as well as Fra & Eng (Lions) in Europe. Townsend’s argument he’s too green is frankly little other than an up yours to those querying his selection . It Toonie was winning then he’s entitled to double down. But he’s not, he’s failing.
