The aggressive push toward gen AI makes me want to double down on all my analog skills: photography, writing, woodworking, welding, blacksmithing, sewing, painting – all of it.

Why would I (or any of you) want to give up any part of your most deeply satisfying activities? Real is gold.

I've definitely considered Mastodon and have an account there. I've never actually posted anything but I do plan to check it out at some point.... Maybe sooner rather than later.
