I met with my new job coach today and he asked what video games I’ve been playing when I said it was one of my hobbies. I told him I’ve been playing some Final Fantasy games and he said “I’ve never heard of it, but have you tried Expedition 33?” and a part of my heart shattered

I decided to start a movie for the first time in over a year and it just makes me miss living in a real city. The architecture, the greenery, the bustle, all of it. Only three more months and I’ll be free.

It’s creepy how often I notice people talking about AI in public now. Until a few months ago it was just something I saw people mention online and now it’s seeping its way into the real world. It makes me feel old.

Reddit is so ableist towards people with BPD. So many people assume they’re toxic and if they’re even remotely nice it’s just the “idealization phase.” I said my relationship with my gf was happy despite her diagnosis and someone there said it wasjust idealization and she’ll ditch me later. WTH.

I upgraded my computer before RAM prices skyrocketed, but I’m still mad for people who wanted to get into PCs this year. I can’t believe AI is ruining so much.

I’m really looking forward to doing the cross country roadtrip I’ve been meaning to do in a few months. Seeing more states and maybe some of Canada is exciting.

With how expensive gaming is getting each year I feel like eventually I’ll reach the point where I’ll just move on to TV shows and books. Every year I feel like I’ve seen most of what the medium currently offers and the increasing cost makes it feel less worth it.

I’ve been wanting to figure out how to make 3D models in blender, but found it too daunting until someone suggested just making cubes and sculpting them into whatever I want. That sounds way less daunting than making them polygon by polygon.

I think I’ll finally start that visual novel I’ve wanted to make. It’ll be like Omori meets Gravity Falls and every ending will have plot significance. I also think I’ll make my own walkthrough for the game lol

This year was a mixed bag, but the positive parts were better than I expected. I think I have a better idea of where I want my life to go now.

I’ve lost count on the number of times I said I was moving to upstate New York and people thought I was talking about New York City. Like, there’s a whole state outside of NYC! There’s the really expensive main city and then there’s the cheaper part with lots of natural scenery.

Just finished the latest game from my favorite game studio, Angeline Era. It was great, but now I’m bummed I’ll have to wait a few more years for their next game.

I miss making videos. I think I might do an “awards” video where I give imaginary awards to various games I finished this year. It might be a fun twist on typical reviews.

I decided to just ask for a storage drive for my PC and maybe a Steam or Barnes and Noble for Christmas since I’m mostly happy with what I have. As for other people I might get all my family members some chocolate

Having my wallet stolen the other day has been such a pain. Replacing my ID, debit card, and library card has been so much work.

I’ve finished my 67th game this year today (along with my 117th book). Cutting TV out and working to increase my reading speed has done wonders for my productivity

I upgraded my computer again. Now it has an AMD Ryzen 7800X3D with 80gb of ram and a Nvidia RTX 5070 ti with 16gb of vram. I am probably set for at least another several years lol

I’m still mad at myself for asking someone why they unfriended me and then they went on a long rant filled with their projections of me. I wasn’t really friends with them to begin with and I just set myself up for being hurt. They weren’t worth being trying to be friends with.
