Not only are Republicans wanting to increase your healthcare, but their week long shutdown is burdening our military and putting pregnant women & young children at risk.

Call Bacon (202.225.4155), Ricketts (202.224.4224) & Fischer (202.224.6551) to tell them to STOP the shutdown.
Political flyer with a collage of four prominent people in front of a U.S. Air Force Base entrance sign. The headline at the top in large red font reads: "REPUBLICAN SHUTDOWN BURDENS OFFUTT & MILITARY." The people are dressed in formal attire.

Below them, a quote says:
“So in those critical positions, many times our uniformed military members that are still working full time have to not only do their missions, but also have to fill in some of those critical civilian gaps that have been created due to the furlough,” he [Pierce] said.
Pierce said Offutt’s military personnel are committed to completing the base’s mission just as they did before the government shutdown, but the job gets harder the longer they go without the support from the civilian workforce.

A highlighted section at the bottom in red text reads:
The U.S. Department of Defense furloughed 334,904 employees, or about half its civilian workforce.

At the bottom, the Douglas County Democratic Party logo appears with a citation from the Omaha World Herald and the date “10.2.25”. The background includes a partly cloudy sky and several flags. Black background graphic with white text. The main message states:

"Republican Shutdown Puts New Families At Risk; Nearly 7 million pregnant women and young children depend on WIC for healthy foods. Advocates say funding could run out in about two weeks."

Below a horizontal line, smaller text says:

"THE FEDERAL SHUTDOWN PUTS NUTRITION AID FOR MILLIONS OF NEW PARENTS AT RISK, NPR, 10.2.25"

At the bottom is the logo for DOUGLAS COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

Americans want & deserve affordable healthcare. That’s why support for extending the Affordable Care Act tax credits is bipartisan.

Call Bacon (202.225.4155), Ricketts (202.224.4224) & Fischer (202.224.6551) to tell them to STOP the shutdown by giving Nebraskans access to affordable healthcare.
Political call-to-action graphic

The image has a black, white, and blue color scheme. Across the top, there is a quote in large, bold white letters:

“Red state, blue state, appointed, elected — we have unanimous approval supporting these (healthcare) tax credits.”
- Jon Godfread (R), President of the National Association of Insurance Commissioners

Below the quote, there's a smaller text box that reads:
“Time is short for an ACA premium fix in the shutdown fight, says GOP insurance leader”, NPR, 10.4.25

Moving down, a large blue arrow pointing right contains the word "CALL" in white. Next to it, contact information for politicians is listed in black bold text:

Bacon: (202) 225-4155
Ricketts: (202) 224-4224
Fischer: (202) 224-6551

Below this, black and regular-weight text says:
Tell them to STOP the shutdown by giving Nebraskans access to affordable healthcare

At the very bottom is the logo for the Douglas County Democratic Party. The logo features a stylized "D" with a blue dot inside.

Americans want & deserve access to affordable healthcare, not 6 days of a Republican shutdown.
Political advertisement featuring black-and-white photos of four politicians in front of the White House and U.S. Capitol. The text at the top reads:

The word "Republican" is highlighted in red each time.

Below the politicians, in large red letters, it states:
"Republican Shut Down."

At the bottom is the logo for the Douglas County Democratic Party, with their name written next to it. The overall design emphasizes the word "Republican" in red and associates it with the government shutdown.

A sunny afternoon full of conversation, community & grub…you could feel the Blue Dot energy! Thanks to all who came out for our annual Fall BBQ last week, from community members to elected officials to 2026 candidates.

Outdoor gathering in a park, with a group of people standing and listening to someone speak at the bottom of a brick staircase. Most people are wearing casual clothes, some with matching shirts and blue stickers or dots. There are a few tables and tents set up under the trees, and the sunny weather casts dappled shadows on the ground. The mood appears friendly and engaged, with adults and some children present. In the foreground, one person is wearing a shirt with a large QR code on the back. The green park space is open and spacious, suggesting a community or social event. Group of people standing and conversing on a covered porch. Most are casually dressed, wearing jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and comfortable shoes. There are some older women, one with short gray hair and a purple jacket, enthusiastically talking to a woman in a black t-shirt and denim skirt, who holds a cup and small plate. In the background, a man in a blue cap and dark clothes is standing, while another man with a crossbody bag and white shorts is speaking to a woman with curly gray hair and a white skirt tied around her waist. A woman with a braid and beige sweater looks on, holding a pamphlet. Through the window of the door to the right, several people—adults and children—are visible sitting inside, watching or eating. The atmosphere looks friendly and social. A group of five older adults sitting around a rectangular table in a community room. On the table in front of them are plates with food like burgers and beans, as well as cans of Diet Coke and regular Coke. One man at the end wears a cream hat and a colorful floral shirt, and everyone seems relaxed and in conversation. The room has green panel walls, a window letting in light, and a stack of chairs in the corner. Picnic table with five people enjoying a meal together outdoors. There are two adults on the left—an older man with a white beard, wearing a cap and sunglasses, and a blonde woman with a name tag that says "CINDY." On the right side, there is a woman wearing sunglasses and a red-patterned dress with two girls, one wearing a striped shirt and the other with a unicorn shirt and headband. The table is set with plates containing sandwiches, chips, beans, and pickles, along with beverages like Coca-Cola and Diet Coke. The setting is a covered outdoor area with brick pillars and greenery in the background, giving a relaxed and cheerful atmosphere.

Day 2 of the Republican Government Shutdown. Why? Trump, Fischer, Ricketts & Bacon rather stand with billionaires while you cough up more money for healthcare!
Political advertisement featuring four people in front of a background with stacks of U.S. hundred-dollar bills. The text at the top reads "REPUBLICAN GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN" in large gold letters. Below the image, in a mix of gold and gray text, it says:
