Update: I managed to find a solution. I downloaded an old plugin on Archive org called Voucoder which lets me render using my CPU instead so I can now bypass the NVIDIA driver issue :)
I may have to completely switch from VEGAS Pro 18 to a different editing software. The latest NVIDIA drivers completely fucked over VEGAS Pro 17 to 22 and after reading up on it I don't see either MAGIX or NVIDIA fixing the problem. This sucks as someone who has used VEGAS Pro for over 10 years now.
