As a longterm fan (Tom onwards) who's pleased and grateful that the show returned so successfully, I find the uninformed entitledness of some absolutely staggering. As Oscar Wilde nearly put it, each fan kills the thing he loves.
Which reminds me that the Performing Arts school of the college where I worked found a(n un)suitable abbreviation for its Analysis & Performance modules...
You can't fool me, that's a CAT scan.

JN-T had a bit of a magpie tendency. AIUI Nyssa wasn't going to be a permanent companion either. Like other producers since, JN-T argued 3 companions was "returning the magic" of the original cast, which in itself was flawed (Susan underused)...
I prefer the "award losing writer" approach, which retains a nice ambiguity. Did they not win the award, or did they win and forget where they put it? Ooh, they're enigmatic. OR ARE THEY? (Cont'd p94)
Currently in Ayr, now looking forward to Arnie's rendition of Tam o'Shanter. (Or William Shatner. Tam o'Shatner. Hmm...)

The pubs are still open, so yes.
A friend once claimed to have seen a sign EARS PIERCED WHILE YOU WAIT.
The Man Who Was Thursday must be a contender for that. GK Chesterton combining satire with trippiness and the oddest ending.
And telling that they blame it on "a printing error". Bad case of BSE (blame someone else).

If this rebrand fails, what next - SF Brown?
"...Or earlier. Time is relative, which is relative madness. Well, mine are, anyway... I'm drifting. NURSE! Is it teatime yet? BEEEEEP"
It was an impressive Spurs impression...
Good evening. Tried reading Freddy a bedtime story...
We were at a garden party, whose hosts solemnly announced that the event would continue because "it's what she would have wanted"...
Actual critical thinking (or to put it another way, learning how to think, not what to think).
Very sad news. Much as I love Season 17, the programme couldn't have continued in that vein for much longer. Bidmead was key to ensuring its survival into the 1980s. And I love Logopolis too. That moment in ep1 when Tom sees the Watcher is a shiver-up-the-spine moment.
6. It discourages critical thinking.
