At best it was a vibro collar and not a shock, but even then using it on a dog to correct no obvious bad behaviors and claiming it’s part of “place” training. And his attitude after has been atrocious cripes.

You’re being rather rude. You didn’t specify the guy and his dog, I wagered it was in general. Which is why I said if someone works a job for 8+ hours, the dog need a place to relieve itself. Not all dogs use pads. So yes, I think hiring a walker or using dog daycare is good.+

Yeah, leaving a dog alone for 8 hours is shitty in my opinion. If you work a job that lasts that long without anyway for the dog to relieve itself, you need someone to check on them.

None of this addresses his clear annoyance, the possible collar use, or his attitude about it all. It’s shitty.
