It's really fascinating, all the more so because he clearly had moral courage at least some of the time - writing the Declaration of Independence was a plenty dangerous act.

And yet.

THEY BREAK UPON THE CONTRAPTION IN JAY JONES' REC ROOM
Okay, I absolutely cackled when I saw this.

this is the most successful a CIA officer has been at toppling a government in years.
The impression I get is that in the primary, it was still plausible that Cuomo might remain a power player in NYC.

In the general, it's both clear he's lost his power, and also has stooped to ever lower lows.

I don't think anyone of significance on the Dem side has endorsed Cuomo?
Oh god. I remember BFME1 bases. Noooot the best experience.

I never played the sequel that much, don't even recall why at this point.
I'm not sure it was that great as an actual *game,* precisely, but damn if it didn't do the Big Cinematic Setpieces well.

Let's be fair. Marianne isn't notably *more* Extra than the rest of Team Timekeeper.

Vertin just has a vibe.
I've seen some pretty disastrous campaigns, and this is clearly up in the rankings.
Always a classic, *especially* if you can blame one of the participants.
I can only assume that these people hate that one of Hamilton's themes is that the United States is in fact a good thing.
(Case in point: I am a teacher. There is a fair amount of drudgery and bull**** involved in being a teacher. Nevertheless, I do actually believe that I am making the world a tiny bit better by teaching kids.)
Correct. Useful work here subbing in for, I think, "what am I contributing to society as a whole? / How is the world being made *better* by my participation?"

Which is a fairly core psychological need, and often (though not necessarily) fulfilled by a day job of some sort.
This stuff always struck me as a particular subcategory of "games meant to be read, not run".

Which, like, no shade. Everyone goes crazy in their own special way.
