Nosferatu was awesome. Sometimesthe ‘modern music’ matched really well. Others not so much but it was awesome! Dunno if the splashes of colour in some scenes came from colour tinting the actual print or using modern tech to have the colour match the music but it was a fun experience. Would do again.

Moon Knight addendum: I just finished reading the modern Vengeance Of The Moon Knight and enjoyed it. Good to have Marc back (the miserable bastard) and am making the choice to stop before I read Fist Of Khonshu. It’s probably not a good thing I can see freaky skeletal bird gods when I blink.

I have spent the last couple of days reading the Jed McKay Moon Knight omnibus and I’m loving it. I’m like 70% of the way through it (About 20 issues in) and I LOVE IT. This is awesome!

This is the biggest attack on free speech since the McCarthy era but it also has significantly less popular consensus behind it than the second Red Scare. It's being done on behalf of a minority faction led by the most unpopular president in modern history. Organizing against this can win.

I just finished watching the D+ Moon Knight show with a friend. Honestly? I enjoyed it way more than I was expecting to. Congrats Disney. I already thought Moon Knight looked cool/seemed like a neat idea but now I actually care about the poor bastard/s. I really need to read that omnibus soon.

just so fucking angry. Loved legends Arceus and was looking forward to ZA since its announced. now one month before it comes out we find they are FORCING ranked online battles by locking the new megas people were happy to see behind it. Its ruined my day before it starts.

Watched the new version of the pilot for Helluva boss on Amazon Prime. Quite impressed how they reworked elements of the pilot to better fit into how the characters are presented in the show proper. Yes the original pilot is non canon and was declared that long ago.

If it wasn’t for having a multi-region player so I can pick up some Discotek stuff and Anime Limited re Gundam, Nadesico, FMP etc? I think the mecha fan in me would be going crazy! I found out TODAY that I could stream modern Macross legally (having previously assumed US only.) Happy Birthday!

I’ll keep that in mind! I still have a lot of L-Gaim to watch (and a slightly horrifying amount of mecha I’ve bought but not watched yet) but once I finish L-Gaim I’ll track down the Five Star movie. I hope that some non-Tomino classic mecha anime get a wider distribution soon. The UK doesn’t help.

I’m 99% sure the only reason it worked for me was because UC wasn’t my only Gundam experience at the time (Thanks 00 and IBO) and I pushed through the first episodes and realised I was already attached to the gang. I really do owe Anime Limited a LOT. Hopefully you’ll do another panel soon!

Ooh! That sounds really interesting! I’ll have to look for it! Also, re the Q and A section? I loved Gundam ZZ. I fully acknowledge it’s heavily flawed, but for some reason going straight from Zeta to ZZ worked for me (I still don’t know how) and I would LOVE to watch your Gundam panel someday!
