I was today years old when I discovered Oerth is supposed to be pronounced "Oyth" like a Brooklyner saying "Earth." I will *never* pronounce it this way and you can't make me.
One day, a billion years from now when we've got UBI and can actually afford things again, we're gonna finish our #pathfinder #1stedition collection.
We aren't getting SNAP next month while he literally builds a gold fuckin' ballroom. This is some serious "let them eat cake" bullshit.
Making art with marbles while learning about energy transfer.
Some of these creatures are things of absolute beauty considering the insane color palette limitations of the Game Boy.
Kaz the Minotaur is a novel that tells the story of Kaz the minotaur.
0 level characters in Dungeon Crawl Classics trying to make it as adventurers. The chef with the frying pan will probably have better luck.
Got a good chuckle out of this one. We haven't actually played 5th edition, but I picked up the Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft at the library just to see how things went for this campaign setting since the old AD&D books we have.
Glad to see this coming out. We've been playing Wrath of Ashardalon and were thinking we'd love to see a Pathfinder version of the Hero Quest schtick with more of a campaign feel.
The "enhanced" edition of Baldur's Gate is kinda garbage. How did they manage to make it look *worse*? Just gonna reinstall the original 😅
Alcohol bath for this big boy to get rid of the rest of the black in the nooks and crannies before repainting.
We learned about the history of the ancient game Mancala and played a few rounds with our easy-to-make egg carton board. Did you play this game in school?
After looking through a bunch of abandonware sites, I think I found it. It was either Dungeon of Doom / The Dungeon Revealed for Macintosh, or it was another old time roguelike RPG with a very similar black and white aesthetic.
That's probably a million Apple II RPGs, sorry.
Maybe you can help me remember the name of a game? I think it was the Apple II. It was similar in style to this, but completely black and white and I don't think the avatar was animated. There wasn't any fog of war, you just saw the whole dungeon map and moved around picking up items and fighting
Forget the Elder Sign. The magnificent Oxford comma is all that stands between humanity and chaos.
Its weird this setting never got a video game. Wish one of the companies putting out old school Shadowrun or Infinity Engine type games would pick this up.
The #pathfinder RPG from @paizo.com of all places gave us inspiration for today's art project, making our own Green Faith leaf faces.
We learned about the Oregon Trail today, so obviously this was a must. Did you know you can play a number of different versions straight through your browser now? Sadly, xan (snakebite), tan (snakebite), and ban (dysentery) didn't make it.
Yes! Love this one, and so glad it got a translation. There are still several games in the series that are Japanese-only.
