Today is the anniversary of my bro's funeral. When I moved here, he hadn't graduated highschool yet. I missed that day. I missed his 21st birthday.

When I finally got to go back to see him again, it was an adult I never knew in person, laying in a coffin.

I know it's a downward spiral when even browsing my feed doesn't make me feel anything but sadness. Today has been awful. I feel so awful. Sparks of manic laughter, which I'm so grateful for. But, when it's quiet, the oppressive sadness is still waiting. It's ok tho, it'll pass like always.

11 years ago today, lost my little brother to suicide.

Feels like so long ago, and yesterday all at once. I still blame myself sometimes for not being there. For not being the amazing person he was, or living up to the great person he thought I was.

Take a shot with me, put on some rave music. 🖤
