Trump’s fantasy ballroom won’t be built during his term, but when rational people finally restore what he destroyed, they should leave a patch of unkempt dirt with weeds, garbage and East Wing debris and call it the Donald J. Trump Monument to Presidential Overreach.
What are the odds that in 2028 there will still be a hole in the ground next to the White House where the East Wing used to be?

Dems are pissed about folding to end the shutdown, but Trump might be even more pissed. I'm guessing that he wanted to keep it going into the Christmas season, and that people would forget about his tariffs and blame higher prices on the shutdown, which he would blame on Dems.
