As a newbie in 2D rigging animation, I want to say that doing a simple animation isn't that hard, the issue with animation is that you have to spend very much time on everything in it. If I remember correctly, I do my Otake TCG animation for ~ 30 hours

And then they are completely okay with AI changing the character details and uncanny motion
