Hey hobby fam! Time for another Sunday #giveaway thread!

If you could receive one card from another #thehobby fam member, what would it be?

Keep requested cards under $30 in value. Please post cards you can give, & RT to share with others. #cardsky #generosity #cards4free

Way too soon. I was kind of shocked to see the news.

Playoff Clayton Kershaw is the equivalent of mid-1980s regular season Ron Davis. #Dodgers #MNTwins

I could go on & on about how key U.S. media outlets like the WSJ have utterly jumped the shark when it comes to reporting anything of value these days, but I literally have 5 years olds in the school I work at that have a better understanding of music history than this guy appears to have.

Compared to Dylan and Springsteen, country-music legend Johnny Cash can seem deeply uncool. It took time for me to appreciate his profound, plainspoken strength, writes Jon Fasman.

If you look at Randy Johnson's stats on the back of his 1990 Fleer card, you'd probably not at all conclude that this man would one day become a top 10 All Time MLB pitcher. Fleer did point out that he was "Named best prospect in Class AA in 1987," but how often does that pan out in a major way?

You're welcome! Glad I had an extra one to send you.

These two HOFers were featured in "retirement cards" in all three major baseball sets in 1984. The Fleer card is my favorite of the bunch, but they're all cool. Here are my rookie cards for both all time greats!

Sad to hear of the death of Mike Greenwell. A 3x All Star and lifetime .303 hitter, Mike was especially elite during the 1988 season, when he had a 7.5 WAR and was 2nd in the AL MVP race. RIP Mike. #RedSox

Love seeing Vladdy Jr going off in the playoffs. He's been a pc player for me ever since his cards started being produced. I really want to see him and his dad be the first father-son player duo be elected to the HOF. #BlueJays

Too much celebrating perhaps, but I'd celebrate a playoff series win over the Yankees any day.

Nolan was 32 years old when this card was printed in 1979. By the time his career was over at the end of the 1993 season, he had over 2,000 more strikeouts than Walter Johnson, the all time leader as of 1979.
