If you test positive for #HIV, treatment is highly effective, and most can expect to live a long, healthy life.

Early diagnosis can be lifesaving, so please get tested regularly if you’re sexually active.

Visit the NHS website to check your options: https://t.co/rvJOa6bo28 https://t.co/TxoVjMSA1n
Did you know? More than half the people in the UK living with HIV are now over 50. Thanks to testing and treatment, people can live long, healthy lives.

Good efficacy and safety – with a larger phase 2b study already ongoing using 200mg ULO and 2 mg ISL doses.

i-Base graphic for IAS 2025. The main text reads: Once-weekly oral ART. New research that might make HIV meds even easier to take. At the top is i-Base’s website address: I hyphen base dot info. In the bottom left it says: HIV treatment bulletin. In the bottom right is a white box, containing the words: IAS 2025. 13th to 17th July. Above this is a spiral next to the red AIDS ribbon. There are horizontal strips of the IAS 2025 signature graphics at the top and bottom of the image. They are made up of squares, each containing its own unique pattern based on traditional Rwandan art. The colours used in the image are red, black, white and grey.

NHIVNA would like to thank all who helped to make this year's conference such a great success!

We were fortunate enough to have a photographer for the first time in several years and are delighted to present a tiny selection of his beautiful photos (the full collection is available on facebook)

Attending #nhivna2025 and hearing about the amazing work of smaller and rural clinics… size doesn’t always matter??

In #HIV services in the 80's and 90's we were used to talking about end of life care, but with effective medication we stopped. With an aging population we need to be considering 'advance care plans' again. Great talk at #NHIVNA2025 conference in Leeds

Great presentation from James from @nat.org.uk about the findings of the @hivoutcomes.bsky.social research on the financial crisis facing the #HIV voluntary sector, who provide an essential complement to clinical care, particularly in providing #PeerSupport. #NHIVNA2025

#HIV voluntary organisations change lives every day. They urgently need investment and stronger partnerships with healthcare providers.

Our Senior Policy Manager, James Cole, presented the findings from the HIV Outcomes report 'HIV Services at the Crossroads' at the @nhivna.bsky.social conference.

I'm so grateful and honoured to have been entrusted by the @nhivna.bsky.social Executive to be Chair of the #nhivna2025 conference. You will not find a more dedicated, passionate and empathic group of people as #HIV nurses. Sad to step down from the Exec, but looking forward to being a punter in '26

Great opening session for day 2 of @nhivna.bsky.social, exploring the successes and challenges of opt-out ED BBV testing in Brighton, Blackpool, Nottingham and Leeds. Post diagnosis opt-out #HIV #PeerSupport not available in all sites yet, though. #nhivna2025
