@peteabeglobe.bsky.social Pete if their was a twitter type app that allowed only sports talk would you jump on that? The early days of twitter was so fun especially at trade deadline and winter meetings. I like BlueSky but it just doesn’t have the same activity.

@theathletic.com I think it would be great if The Atheletic developed their own twitter type app and made it sports talk only and strictly adhered to that policy. Twitter is too volatile at times and as much as I like BlueSky it just isn’t as active as twitter.

@peteabeglobe.bsky.social Pete I’ve read a few rumors about Skubal stating why give up the farm for a possible one year acquisition. I know I would not but unless my memory has totally failed me didn’t teams used to or try to do a sign and trade before giving up the farm?

@katiejwoo.bsky.social 2/2 I don’t know if you’ve had much interaction with Mookie Betts but as a Red Sox fan I still can’t stand that he’s not on my favorite team. He’s a great person and probably the only person to win an MVP and bowl a perfect game. Best wishes on your new post.

@netflix.com I’ve enjoyed the sports documentaries you put out regardless of the sport. Full Swing and Receivers have been my favorite. I’d love to see one featuring hockey Goalies.

@peteabeglobe.bsky.social Pete just curious your thought on Mayer long term. The Kid seems to be an excellent fielder and hopefully hitting will improve. To me the issue would be injuries. If I recall every year of pro ball he’s dealt with an injury.

@golfmonthly.com read the article “if I was in charge of the rules of golf”. Pace of Play penalties would be interesting if the PGA had the intestinal fortitude to penalize substantial fedex points and OWGR points for slow play. I think those penalties will hurt more than strokes or monetary fines.

@peteabeglobe.bsky.social Pete I was reading Jayson Starks piece on expansion and a 156 game schedule. I realize it would be a few years out but I’m curious if the season would start later, end earlier, or longer all star break. I’m thinking a longer all star break would benefit players.

@slangsonsports.bsky.social Sarah, with the A’s in Sacramento its technically their 4th home that I’m aware of. The Braves have had three homes and I’m wondering if any other team has had more than two home cities? You could say the opposite of that is Washington DC has had three different teams.

@gabbyherzig.bsky.social I doubt the pga tour would ever do this but if the pictures of the lockers that were supposedly damaged by Clark and the tee marker that Rory broke that needs to cost them fedex points and OWGR points. Monetary fine will not be that big of a deal to multimillionaires.

@peteabeglobe.bsky.social Pete one of the issues I find disturbing is the lack of contact. I don’t listen to post game interviews but I’m curious if that question has ever been posed to Cora. I think you can live with the K’s if they were power hitters producing RBI’s when they make contact.
