On the downside we lost the pub quiz (three members down and I am not mentally on form right now)

On the plus side we chose 'His Dark Materials' to be the wooden spoon round next week so even though I'm away due to birthday shenanigans I think we've got a solid 5 points squared away

Suddenly when puberty blockers are given to cis kids, the Daily Mail (the same newspaper which backed Hitler btw) finally admits that "their effects are not permanent, and once a child lets their blocking treatment lapse, puberty will just continue as normal."

Which is true for trans kids too.

The NHS will quite casually give cis kids whatever treatment they need, even PBs👇

When I got paid I bought myself a beanbag chair and created a little reading space because I have been awful at doing any reading recently.

Tonight I'm trying it out and I may never move again (except to make more cups of tea)

Next thing is to get a lamp so I can have it a little darker 🥰

Two altar frontal changes, two carpets rolled up and carried the length of the building, 75 chairs moved, a wedding and an Installation of Canons when one has had 3.5 hours sleep has made for a wonderful but somewhat exhausting day.

But I love the variety of it, and the joy of us making it happen

The most excellent birthday party of a friend who decided to go with a soviet union theme because they are ridiculous, then painted and hid submarines around their flat for us to find. I'm just walking home now after being up since 6am but it was so so worth it

Dysphoria has been unexpectedly loud recently so I took myself off to the barbers (I had been growing my hair out over the summer) because the experience of being in the barbers in itself is gender affirming for me.

I will regret this haircut when the weather turns colder no doubt...

The Goodest of Dogs as we had the newest training police dogs come to do familiarisation training in the Minster building - I wish I'd got a picture of them sending the dog up to the Arch's Throne, the CT caption competition could have been superb

It'd be worth sending them a message about this one Sam - they're a relatively small company all things considered, and would be very receptive to feedback I think.

I had an interview with them (on their warehouse side) but the commute time was going to be too much
