All true and all forewarned. Now happening. Tragic and reversible but it will take bold politicians and strong leadership. Anyone?!

They didn't write 'Want to be the sick man of Europe again?' on the side of a bus, did they? Would have been more informative than the NHS lie.

As tweeted so many times before, UK now an outsider to EU & every other country in the world...as more turn inwards & more protective ..
EU etc can afford to do without UK goods; but UK cannot even afford to reciprocate its TCA border, never mind start any trade wars.

Are we at the point now where Brexit is just accepted to cause problems in all the areas is was expected to by experts who were rubbished at the time of the vote? The economy, immigration, NI, British freedom (gone) in Europe- all now worse permanently because we left the SM. Who's going to fix it?

To be honest I'm bored of all this now. None of it is, was ever, or should be "news"..
The always adverse consequences & ramifications of Brexit (TCA & NIP/WF) were *always* obvious to anybody with a modicum? of understanding of trade

Ep5 is here! We're going big on Liz's legal challenge that could derail deregulation and seriously scupper Starmer's plans. Lab grown meat is under the microscope and somehow we sidetrack into a debate about driving before careering into the PM's comms car crash. 👇

Stephen Yaxley Lennon persuades 100k+ people to go out on the streets to protest- but what do they want? He's offering no realistic solutions. All immigration has gone up because of Brexit- guess the most effective way to lower it. @lizwebster.bsky.social @nick1webb.bsky.social

Is PM Starmer using Brexit deregulation and 'Henry VIII' powers to dodge parliamentary scrutiny and force through a US trade deal that will be bad for the health of our nation? It looks that way, and we're campaigning to stop it. @lizwebster.bsky.social @nick1webb.bsky.social ep2 available now!

Ep 2 is out now in all the normal places- please give us a listen, we're trying to stop a dangerous change to our diets that a US trade deal would bring while highlighting the need to return to EU standards before it's too late. We also give both barrels to Farage and the far right.

If these facilities are ever used for what they were built for the UK will have border chaos with less choice and higher price of goods hitting businesses and public hard. If not used without joining SM we are an open border smugglers paradise. Both are awful options compared to SM/EU membership.
vivamjm.bsky.social
Again worth pointing out these facilities *were NEEDED* for the Brexit that UK wanted, negotiated & got. Some of us been warning since 2016 UK would not have ops ("red tape"personnel) capacity it needed for this.
