Happy new year! Here's the start of my 2025 thread of media and more that I've experienced. Currently loving my time with Baldur's Gate 3 so it'll be awhile before I finish it but I'll probably sneak in some movies and TV shows throughout.

KPop Demon Hunters ✅ After the huge hype over the summer, finally got around to seeing this. Simply delightful, loved the animation and the songs were catchy as hell.

Silksong ✅ I wasn't sure I'd be able to finish the game at points but not only did I do that but I 100%'ed it. One of my proudest gaming moments. Not only GOTY but also Game of the decade contender. Yeah there's some bullshit but everything else is just so stellar that with time I know I'll forget.

Peacemaker S2 ✅ An oddly paced finale but otherwise had a blast with this season. Batista still is best wrestling thespian but Cena showed he has the chops too with this.

D20's Shriek Week + Adventuring Party ✅✅ I had heard that was considered the weakest season. So I think since I had low expectations I didn't find it that bad. That said not a fan of the GM who will go unnamed but the season was saved by the cast who made it work.

One Battle After Another ✅ Simply a stellar movie. Didn't expect it to be so funny as much as it was tense. Benicio Del Toro played arguably one of coolest motherfuckers ever in cinema. A must see.

My watch has ended. I have a lot of idle time so that's probably closer to 80-90 hours. I honestly wasn't sure I'd be able to do it but perseverance does pay off. Definitely not a Souls guy so my work was cutout for me but this world is way too beautiful to not delve into.

Agreed, ended up doing the first phase without any tools, to learn the patterns to stay alive and then unleash hell one the 2nd or 3rd phases. We the amount of visual chaos I think emo Trobbio caused me the most grief. Seems I've only got the last boss left. All the best for your own home stretch!

Inside Out 2 ✅ Finally for around to seeing this and had a blast. They were able to take more complex emotions and keep it fun. Still feels like the original had the sauce a bit more but sti really enjoyable.

The Phoenician Scheme ✅ Wes Anderson has always been full of substance but this felt like the one where it lost track of any substance. Absolutely gorgeous with great performances but wasn't enough to make it feel like an actual movie.

D20 Misfits and Magic + Adventuring Party ✅✅ Love this sendup of that wizarding school series and it almost felt like a reclaiming of sorts. Brennan seemed to have a blast as a PC. Happy to know there's another season waiting for when I get there in my release order watchalong.

Hamilton ✅ This was a pandemic feel good watch. Great seeing it live with the touring cast. My friend who went in blind had issues understanding everything, which I would've had too had I not seen it multiple times beforehand. Was great seeing the anniversary edition at the movies a few days later.

@gameonysus.bsky.social Listening to the latest Remap Radio and this might sound like an ad but my wife swears by Tupperware's FridgeSmart containers and it's truly wild how they've extended the life of fruits and veggies compared to fridge drawers and other containers. Highly recommend.
