Today I learned how to check the logging outside of the engine to debug a problem. My build was working fine when exported with debug, and failing to load when release. Turns out debug was hiding an error that was causing the main scene script to fail to compile. #godot#indiedev#debugging#devlife

Then I decided to learn how to implement custom cursors that better indicate when the user is over an interactable and it feels like a nicely polished game.
Added some sound effects to my puzzle game and suddenly it feels much more viable than it did last week. Much more so than added levels made it feel. #gamedev#indiegamedev#ridingthespiral
