Been experiencing a series of technical screw ups recently. It's probably fine but in the event of further screw ups if I disappear from bluesky and tumblr then I should probably still be found on deviantart and youtube.

My computer has fan issues rn so I'm trying not to keep it on for long periods, but since I've managed to finish it here's the art for a cover I have in the works (provided my computer doesn't burst into flames or something midway through doing the rest).

Trying out flipaclip on my phone so drew this. Maybe at some point I'll actually animate it too... though I may have gone overboard with what to try as a first attempt.

I feel like it's worth reminding people that however bad it is, Vocaloid 6 has vocal conversion so it's only a matter of time before someone tries this.

Dialogue- Rin: "Are you worried about the vocal conversion function your V6'll have?" Miku: "No, why would I be?" Rin: "So you've realised it'll be SUPER easy to make you British?" Miku (dismissively): "Pshhht... Who would be bothered by THAT?" Cut to Miku lying wide awake on her bed at night, obviously stressed out by the idea.

Bit of advice to anyone who sees this: if you're thinking of making an animal part of your iconography, do make sure it's one you can actually draw. I'm attempting draw a binturong (a nocturnal mongoose-like animal) right now for the first time in a while and suffering🙃

Microsoft has been adding updates to paint again lately. Brushes now have adjustable transparency, and a .paint file type is now a thing. Feels weird, but does at least mean I don't have to save layers separately (in case you're really not caught up, yes, modern mspaint has had layers for a while).

Sometimes I get short bursts of hyperactivity and it makes things interesting cos I look back on files and go "what the hell is this" and then I remember one night I heard about the penguin Vietnam war veteran beer mascot anime and tried to replicate an entire song from it.

Okay participating in this has totally messed with vocadb's idea of what my most commonly used vbs are. It's currently listing Miku, Rin, and Iroha, three voicebanks I don't own, as my most used.
If I have any energy I may need to produce more covers just to correct it. 🤔Or is that excessive?

Was outside with a jam tart earlier and a wasp landed on it. Tried shooing it, telling it off, ultimately tapping it on the antenna with my finger. The wasp didn't care, didn't sting me, just continued eating. The kind of wasp that makes me question the "all wasps are arseholes" idea people have.
