American politics makes a lot more sense when you realize that the GOP is afraid of pissing off the GOP base, and the Dems are afraid of pissing off the GOP base, but neither party is afraid of pissing off the Dem base.

I just want those who aren’t NASCAR fans to know that not all NASCAR fans support Trump. I’ve been a fan for over 25 years and also know plenty of fans who cannot stand him. Just want to make sure that’s clear.
