I’m proud to join so many leaders in today’s announcement of a future Queens Holocaust Memorial Garden in the heart of our borough.

It will serve as a testament to our history and a tool to teach the next generation of #QueensKids to #NeverForget.

AAF joined community groups this morning in support of @nilyrozic.bsky.social and @liunewyork.bsky.social's hospital language access bill and to urge @governor.ny.gov to sign it into law—because all New Yorkers deserve quality medical care no matter what language we speak!

Too many New Yorkers face language barriers that can delay or prevent life-saving care.

Legislation I sponsor with Sen. John Liu ensures NY hospitals provide interpretation & translation services so every patient can make informed decisions.

Let’s make equitable healthcare a reality for all.

This Veterans Day, we recognize the incredible service and sacrifices made by our veterans.

I’ll keep fighting in Albany to make sure veterans have the support and resources they’ve earned and deserve.

Libraries are more than buildings — they’re gateways to opportunity, learning, and connection. That's why I am thrilled to celebrate Hillcrest's reopening.

Proud to keep fighting for the resources Queens families deserve. 📚 #LibrariesAreEssential
Reminder: Hillcrest Library (187-05 Union Turnpike) will reopen for public service on Tuesday, October 28 at 1PM.

We look forward to serving you soon!

I recently announced $25,000 in new funding for Tomchei Shabbos of Queens to support their kosher meal delivery program that provides meals to families and older adults in need.

With this state grant, meals will be delivered directly, ensuring access to nutritious, kosher food throughout the year.

I was honored to join SCO Family of Services for its first “Community, Commitment, Change” forum in Briarwood.

For 130 years, SCO has been strengthening New York families, and it was inspiring to see their mission and plans in action.

Grateful to be part of this milestone. #ThePeoplesWork

Today we remember the lives lost on September 11th, 2001, and all those that we have lost from 9/11-related illnesses.

We honor the families who still bear the weight of that day, and the courage of heroes and first responders who continue to serve.

Tonight, join us if you can. 🇺🇸

These are the devastating consequences of leaving antisemitism unchecked and allowing it to go mainstream.

Sending my deepest condolences to the @israelmfa.bsky.social and the families of the victims of tonight’s tragedy. May their memories be a blessing.

I was so grateful to @ncjw.bsky.social for coming to the State Capitol to advocate for reproductive health.

With the uncertainty coming out of DC, it is critical that we maintain access to quality care. NY must provide women’s health services regardless of cuts to Medicaid or Title X.

The firing of Biden officials from the Holocaust Museum is unprecedented & reprehensible. Museum Board membership a solemn obligation to education, tolerance & preserving the memory of six million lost. As with everything else, Trump is using it for purposes of political retribution. Unconscionable.
Every American who cares about preserving the memory of the six million lives lost in the Holocaust should be outraged by Donald Trump’s actions.
