After a long hiatus, I've been revamping Atlas' StateMachine for the last few weeks. Today I finally started hooking up her behaviors with the new broom mechanics.

That *is* a really good idea.

It's a metroidvania, this is a test project without my camera controls or tilemaps. Screenwrap is for convenience.

New StateMachine is working amazing. Atlas is feeling better too.

Still a lot of work to get back to where we were, but like I said before, as far as our usual business is concerned:

I'm most impressed at the Skele jumping over the pit. How did you get that to work?

I've been working on a new direction for the broom flying mechanics by adding pitch steering

Pitch down/up to gain/lose speed. I think the modulation of multiple variables at once make avoiding obstacles/enemies a more interesting challenge.

This looks really nice! I wouldn't have thought the lion heads would be affected by attacks at all. Maybe add a red gem weak-spot or something?
