After 5 years without the Omnitrix, Ben was startled at Heatblast's growth, being much stronger than he was as a child. He would prove invaluable in defeating Highbreed due to their weakness to fire.

During their final encounter that night, Animo successfully mutated a giant bat from the zoo, and ben decided now was as good of a time as ever to try out the only alien he hadn't yet. Using Loudmouths sonic screams, he took down Animo's mutant and sent him straight to the slammer..
