Last year, I was discussing Asimov's Foundation with my brother and how Hari Seldon's "Psychohistory" had inspired a to-be side project (one of those "I'll get to it one day" kind of things). This became my introduction to Cliodynamics; outlined by Peter Turchin in Ages of Discord. (1/4)

I spent a little too much time building some flexible systems in #touchdesigner so I could quickly swap out assets and input sources. It works great except I can stop fiddling with the knobs.
