Spent a week cleaning the detritus and clutter of 16 months of illness and inactivity out of the office and booth.
Seeing it return to a functioning space for creation and exploration is nearly tear-invoking.

I keep a voice recorder on me at all times.
Yesterday I had a HUGE breakthrough on Horizon 13 on the treadmill. I grabbed my voice recorder and dictated it. Didn't even have to pause my workout.
I've written on hikes, while camping, all over.
I use dictation for about 85% of my writing now.

Two years ago today I was in Chicago sitting in an ICU with my wife as she fought for her life after a massive stroke and brain surgery.
This morning, she hollered upstairs to ask if I want tea, and we're planning a cross country road trip.

There's someting theraputic about doing an audio journal. Just talking about what I'm doing, how I'm feeling, and then posting it on the website. It doesn't feel like advertising. It feels like social media used to. Just sharing my stories and my life. Feels good, honestly. New one coming Sunday.
