The peak-end rule is a cognitive bias that explains how we remember experiences. Its not by averaging every moment, but by recalling the most intense point (the peak) and how things ended.

I really liked this article about how stakeholders dismiss user research as time consuming and not necessary. Many just don’t want to deal with users and they see UX research as a soft science" thats not serious.

Our brains tend to focus on the negative, blowing minor missteps out of proportion and fixating on past embarrassments.
Instead of regret, we can treat these moments as data for making better choices in the future. Accept that the past is unchangeable, and focus on moving forward.
