Also let my deer spirit painting be a sound lesson for those who think they need the “right tools” before making art: this was done with a large worn flat brush, a beaten to hell small brush, and the absolute cheapest acrylic paint I’ve ever used. You can do it!

I got the “you lost weight” and replied, “thanks, I am skipping meals so my kids have enough to eat”I call it the Poor and Stressed Diet. 👍

The times anyone ever commented on "wow you've lost weight, you look great"? I was in burn out. Or had disordered eating. Or was fighting constant ideation. I was too stressed, depressed, or hating myself.

A reminder: If you're visiting loved ones over the holidays, and you notice that someone has lost or gained weight or is eating more or less than usual, that's great. Excellent observation skills on your part. Now--and here's the crucial part--keep your mouth shut and mind your own damn business!
