DAY ONE: ART AS RESISTANCE

No Kings/50501 Organizers will be hosting a Zine and Protest Making Workshop TONIGHT at the Braided River Gallery in the Lloyd Center! We hope to see you there, and please bring your own set of scissors if you can! We will have some to share, but it would be a huge help

Part 3 weeks of actions just dropped!!

We will finish out the week with Creative Gifting on 11/29, which includes a gift making craft night put on by No Kings! Followed by “Do Unto Others Day” on 11/30 and then more ideas on how to support Black Out the System with targeted boycotts.

Portland, the clocks have fallen back, the leaves are falling too, and we’re starting to break out the things that keep us warm. It’s been a really long year, and we have all been in it, going hard, pushing back against this regime with all of our strength.

TOMORROW- The city will be hearing a new proposal to impose an impact fee on the detention center to ensure fair cost sharing to reduce burden on tax payers.
